How to use the carrying item (New update) ?

New update allow survivor to carry killer items together with toolbox / medkit etc. But I having hard time figuring how to switch between the item.
Example, carrying EMP and toolbox to repair a gen, but unable to use the toolbox, only normal repair button show up.

You cant use other items while carrying a Special Item

so I need to drop special item in order to use toolbox. That mean we can farm a lot of EMP by simply dropping them and get a new one. Unlimited supply EMP lol.

Although there’s already a pretty unlimited supply of EMPs, I think someone in another thread mentioned they despawn if you drop them.
