Regression tests is industry standard. You should have tests to know things work
Watching today a stream, there was hardly a game without game-breaking bug.
Flashlight saves change view (camera) from survivor to killer.
Legion looks like he's in frenzy, but is not.
Dropped pallet, that has no real collision (everyone can jump over it).
Pokos hits (this is such an evergreen, that people now consider it normal - but you should still fix your networking).
Trapper stun without stun animation.
Killer being momentarily invisible after flash save.
Blinding killer while stunned (inside animation) sometimes does blind killer, but other times just shows the actual beam without any blinding.
You can (partially) deplete flashlight even before game fully loads
And I am sure I forgot several more things (I might edit this post if I remember it or watch VOD).
Jolt making u scream is known thing - but repairing sparkling generator for extended time (until you let it go and repair again) might not be.
A lot of bugs get fixed only to return in next patch. This is not healthy or sustainable development. Automatic tests should be part of standard development - in the end it saves time, keeps game state more healthy and lets devs try things out without huge fear of breaking everything.
You should really start with it (at least as a part of bugfixes). This game sorely needs it.

that's just Tuesday.

Just a note - every single bug I mentioned above was encountered/reminded in a single 5hrs stream. It's not like a collection of super-rare things, that whole community needs months to discover
