Party isnt working (New Patch) (PC) (Steam)

The new patch came out today and my friend and I wanted to play, However when he invites me or I invite him, We get an error message saying - unable to connect to host. game version mismatched message. We restarted our games and made sure the patch was downloaded and still persists. I don't know if the new patch broke partys?
