The mm is working at his best right now
i dont know what change you made but the last two days were the most fun days i had in dbd in years ,i love the mm right now beucase my teammates are awesome therefore playing survivor is so much fun, please keep the mm like this forever.

Yeah I’ve noticed that as Killer I’m getting a lot more survivors around my level. I’m not just stomping babies one game and then going against pros the next. It feels more balanced, even if it means having to sweat a bit more.
Did they actually change anything? Or is it just because there are more players due of the Anniversary that the MMR can actually work?

This could be very much the whole reason. More players = bigger pool to chose from = MMR actually allowed to do its job, before its got to resign and prioritise queue times before match quality.

Well i will tell ya what happened...with anniversary we have more people playing game so mmr doesnt sweat to find people of our mmr
