PC (Steam) - Inconsistency in automatic purchase of Bloodweb nodes

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Boot up the game during the 7th Anniversary event
  2. Click on "PLAY AS SURVIVOR"
  3. Open the Bloodweb
  4. Level the Bloodweb of any character until there are at least one of each uncommon and event nodes next to the center of the Bloodweb. These nodes must either not be purchased if a perk was to be unlocked, or there must not be a perk on the Bloodweb.
  5. Click on "AUTOMATIC PURCHASE" at the center of the Bloodweb

Expected Outcome:

First all Perks, if available, should be unlocked. Afterwards all event and common nodes next to the center should be unlocked. Afterwards, all uncommon nodes next to the center should be unlocked.

Actual Outcome:

After Perks (if available) common nodes next to the center are purchased first. Afterwards uncommon nodes next to the center are purchased. Afterwards event nodes are purchased.

Why is this unexpected/What is the issue?:

The description of automatic purchase, visible when hovering over the center of the Bloodweb, states: "Automatic purchase will prioritize Perks, if available. Otherwise, it will purchase nodes nearest the center, cheapest nodes first.". However, uncommon nodes (Cost 2500 Bloodpoints), are unlocked before event nodes (Cost 2000 Bloodpoints), which are cheaper.

Additional Information:

The survivors tested were: Feng Min, Rebecca Chambers. The killer Bloodweb can currently not be tested for this, as there are no event nodes for killers in the 7th Anniversary event. The node type (Item/Offering/Add-On) does not seem to affect this issue. The issue persists, even if nodes are not directly next to the center (e.g. all nodes next to the center have been unlocked, uncommon nodes now nearest will be unlocked before event nodes the same distance). The issue was consistent across all test cases. All testing was performed on the PC (Steam) version on Manjaro Linux (Kernel 6.3.5-2-MANJARO) running through Proton Experimental.
