Auric cells removed

I had 1120 auric cells and after a few games the number had been reduced to 340 and I made absolute sure that I hadn't purchased anything. I found a video on youtube detailing my exact same issue with other players losing cells after playing.

edit: I've restarted the game yet mine still didn't come back.
