Controller Disconnected Bug

Xbox has a controller discontented bug that doesn’t allow the player to reconnect a controller while in game as survivor and the error message does not go away, I can go back to the Home Screen using my controller but there is no game sound only console sounds such as navigation sounds and using the Xbox button to bring up the Xbox UI menu
