Can we please have Hex: Face the Darkness not affect killer items?
I don't understand why FTD affects things like Pig boxes or the Lament Configuration, because it's next to impossible to interact with these mechanics that are core to countering the killer when you're screaming and being forced to start your progress over again. We shouldn't die to Pig traps or be unable to solve the box because every few seconds we scream and lose our progress, and killers have been super obnoxious about this by running Undying and Thrill of the Hunt so that we can't even cleanse the FTD totem in the first place.

but pig boxes is only good use for face the darkness currently otherwise it is awful hex perk in power-level.

I can't remember the last time I saw someone use Face the Darkness (other than me on Dredge) or Thrill of the Hunt since the nerf. As much as I like it as a perk, Face the Darkness is really awful as far as hexes go. IMO it shouldn't be a hex.

FtD is indeed a bit on a weak side. But it would be almost broken if it wasn't hex. It would need some different (milder then hex?) condition to work.
To OP - well, perks are supposed to give benefit. FtD indeed does this by interrupting you from time to time. But it's not often enough for survivor to not be able to cleanse (even if thrill is in game), do lament config or do pig's box. I think it's find the way it is.

The perk is extremely weak.. on pig or Pinhead are the only uses for it, and they're not even good uses since it can still be cleansed, albeit just a bit harder

Speaking for myself I've made good use of both. Thrill on Skull Merchant (w/ a Devour Hope) and Face the Darkness on Sadako. I've actually gotten pretty good value with FtD. Along with Gearhead it helps with accurate teleporting.
