This Anniversary Event had everything to be the best one ever...
...but technical issues made sure it wasn't.
Seriously, the game is having a lot of problems since the day the event started, and the worst of them haven't even been acknowledged by the devs!
- Performance issues;
- Server and connection issues;
- And you know that fun new mechanic on challenges that randomize your perks? Well, it's BUGGED! It doesn't work most of the time (but still shows the wrong perks on the endgame screen) and there is seemingly no consistent way of making it work. You may get a dozen matches with your pre-selected perks before you get a single one with random ones so you can actually get progress on the challenge.
Until now, no announcement of it being extended due to issues that stopped players from enjoying it, but I honestly think it should be.

No issues here. Have you tried reinstalling the game?

Yeah, game puts my powerful graphics card into over drive, heats up my entire room (other games don't do this, much more graphical demanding games don't) and I've massive frame rate drops. Only on this game.
Idk what they did but something is wrong.

Not to mention that solo survivors got absolutely shafted by the event conditions (surprise surprise). Absolute hell trying to get masks as a solo player.

No issues on my ps5 with random perks.
I try to do my objectives as killer and don't go for kills so survivors get their rewards too.
Unfortunately, even when playing 'nice' I get t-bags, flashlights, body blocks at doors and sabo hooks.
Some people just can't play without being toxic.

still the best event in my opinion despite the lagging

Nah, it's the killers that make sure this isn't the best event by hard tunneling ever single match...
It was okay for the first week but what I've witnessed yesterday was beyond my imagination. Never seen anything like this. All day, back to back every single game no joke, hard tunnel, back to hook, tunnel, gg. They don't even bring cakes anymore.
