Possible hack or a bug?

I hope you can explain this to me.

Solo Surv game against the pig with first surv instantly quit after been hooked. We managed to repair 5 gens and gates were powered. The other two had a bear trap on their head (but got rid of it later) and suddenly the gates were opened, while the killer chased me. I escaped him and tried to open the other gate and "No way out" activated, so I ran for the other, alread opened, gate and escaped. The killer hooked 3 different survs so both gates should be blocked for 34 sec, after the first attempt to open it. But I'm sure that the first gate was opened much earlier than 34 sec, after I fixed the last gen, and why did No way out blocked the second gate (again?) after the first gate has been opened. When I reached the opened gate the lever was still blocked?

I reported one of the survs for cheating, because that looked fishy to me. I don't think the killer cheated because this was a big disadvantage for him and why would he risk to be called out for cheating if one gate is already opened. Or was this just a big bug that prevented No Way Out from activating at the first gate. Any ideas?

Without a video it's kinda hard to determine.

I don't quite know the interaction with No Way Out if a killer opens one of the gates themselves - I don't know if it disables the perk entirely or it still activates on the other gate. I'd have to test it, but that's the only non-hacking possibility I can think of.

If the killer was actively chasing you and a gate immediately got opened with No Way out still in effect then yes, I'd say that's someone cheating but if there's a possibility that the Pig opened one gate themselves that would be a potential possibility.

It could be possible that the killer opened it, if he immediately abondoned the hunt, ran straight to the exit gate and opened it. It just seems weird because we were on the opposite side of the map and the other gate was much closer. Also why would he spoil a 3 token No Way Out just for the chance that inexperienced survivors try to escape with an activated bear trap? He hadn't any other end game perks like Bloodwarden and he didn't want us to escape because he spared his traps for the last gen and killed both of the other survs after they got rid of the trap.

Maybe he had an end game challenge active (kill xyz survs in endgame collapse), but it felt weird because I was only able to escape because of that open gate.

Thanks for the quick answer. 👍️
