Can we please get confirmation that a survivor bot keeps all statuses when it enters the game?
What I mean is that it would be a huge step back for the killer if he had someone injured (possibly infected) and on death hook then they DC and a Survivor bot enters with zero hook states and fully healed.
I would love to believe that BHVR have already considered this but just would love for official confirmation one way or another.

I was wondering this as well. Also will bot come fully healed with 2 hook stages if someone dces or crashes at 1-2 gens left? That would be little silly. Bots are bots but they will still do gens while killer chases the actual players.

I also wondered… most of time i see survivors d/c is right after being downed or hooked. While I like the idea of bots coming into play it would be unfair to the killer to down someone and then a perfectly healthy bot pops in that they have to chase and do it all over again.

I hadn't even considered this as a possibility. It would be pretty stupid and unfair for a fresh new bot to pop up. I always assumed it would just take control of the survivor husk left behind by the DC'er, hook states and all.

Bots shouldnt even be a thing in dbd because of how humanly tactile the game is, even in customs bots know where you are so it doesnt seemed balance.

If this was the only way they could implement bots I don't think they would even consider doing it tbh.

That’s where Dwight-bot and his many friends come in. Going forward, any Survivor who disconnects will be replaced with an AI substitute.
After reading this⬆️ the second the DC happens that survivor is replaced with a bot. where ever the survivor was at when the DC happened down, hooked, working on a gen or hiding in a locker
They DC'ed on hook what ever survivor that player was playing as becomes a bot.
They get downed in the first minute of the match they DC that downed survivor becomes a bot.
They DC'ed in a locker the survivor exiting is a bot.
