Black water swamp
I am unsure of what the realm name actually is but we all know what I'm talking about, in all of the swamp maps. Generators, totems even hatch can appear at the very edges of the map. On the one hand this is kind of cool as it's unique to this map, but at the same time it's also very different from every other map in the game and it can make certain perks completely unusable. Take for example the boon perks, since totems tend to spawn so close to the edges of the map if you are lucky enough to find a totem then it's not close to where any of the action would be happening making it basically completely useless unless you want to go out of your way to go to that one little area. Plus if survivors aren't bringing something like Rocky Spirit or deja Vu then if they get to the last gen they might have no idea that there's a gin near the edge of the map if they can't see it or are not looking for it. I I think that this map along with all the other ones in this realm need a complete overhaul. The swamp idea is really really cool but it's so so dark that you could just walk right by stuff I don't even noticing, I know that there are maps that are darker or have darker parts, but the difference with those maps to this one is that those maps have reds and blues and just color, but the swamp maps are mostly gray with the occasional dark green or red. The reason this could be very problematic is that even if there are totems near the center of the map they are few and far between and it makes things that are smaller very easy to miss. Now imagine if there's a new killer or a new survivor and they play on this map that killer could expect certain things to be on the edges of the map and that survivor could expect for totems and generators and hooks to be closer to the edges of the map and then there's not on any of the other ones. Now I know that this sounds like it's really just a problem for survivors, but it's actually a pretty big problem for Killers too. Dude is a way that hooks appear in the trial there could basically no hooks near the center of the map and then there could be one hook in every corner of the map and how often are you really chasing a survivor in the corner of the map? Out on top of the fact that survivors could bring the petrified oak and that will reduce the amount of hugs in the trial a lot and if you're unlucky that could mean that all the hooks are in the edges of the map, on top of this problem however even if you don't see how it's a big issue the problem really lies with scourge hooks, if you're chasing a survivor and you really need that pain res, or floods of rage, or whatever scourge hook you're running, and then you down that survivor and you pick them up only to see that basically all of your scourge hooks are in the corner of the map and the only two scourge hooks that aren't in the corner of the map are all the way across the map. Honestly these maps just need a overhaul both visually and fundamentally, I mean I've played against killers that have tried to give me hatch and they just straight up cannot find it and I've played as a killer that's trying to give the last survivor hatch and I've also just not been able to find it. So please give it some brighter colors maybe but that could also take away from the whole swamp thing so if you're not going to do that at least align the map with literally every other map. I mean could you imagine if totem's generators and hooks could spawn in the outside parts of Larry's? That would be literally insane!
