PC - Hex: Face the Darkness makes dying and dead survivor scream

I was playing a Scratched Mirror Myers game on Raccoon City Police Station West Wing and Face the Darkness made a survivor scream whilst both dying and dead.
Step 1: Injure a survivor
Step 2: Down them
Step 3: See if they scream
It might have something to do with Myers' inherent undetectability, but something is definitely wrong with the perk. It costed me a 4k as I thought the Meg was making loud noise notifications in the corner :(.
