That's the result of removing slowdown variety from killers.

or instead of slowdown they could use chase perks

With wesker? why.
He is not a M1 killer with extremely limited chase potential.

bc slowdown perks are boring hell aura reading builds exist too slowdown is the reason why this game is so stale

because stealth wesker is goofy af

nth is also v popular.
I don't get the slowdown overkill either. - honestly surprised there's not more aura reading or endgame style builds.

And gens being finished with 5 minutes and not doing any real chase is boring for killers, they just want to play the game?

Plaything is just fun on Wesker. May as well add Pentimento with it.
Aura reading builds aren’t that good right now with Distortion and Off the Record.

PoP goes the Weasel has been buffed, you simply need to get hooks to find use out of it though. And Jolt has been really buggy and strong recently. But yeah, unless you can down people you cannot get regression which work that way anyway.
I would assume they're playing Plaything because he has a huge terror radius and survivors are kind of forced to cleanse against him since he can snowball really hard. It also offers slowdown in general. I've also seen Oni's use this from time to time. kind of surprised they don't use it more often.

Thanks, I will be taking notes here and try out Pentimento/Plaything Wesker tonight. Game has become so quick and fast paced, so let's see what the Wesker hype is all about.

Ah, chase perks, all those wonderful options.
Fire up is defo one of the best, it will dramatically effect your gameplay.
Theres also Coup de Grace, definitely very reliable and meta.
In all seriousness, the only actual decent chase perk on Wesker is bamboozle, and thats not even that helpful if you play right.
So no, killers will probably not waste perk slots to make survivors happy.

It's also good on Oni, I've seen a couple run it. I'm also going to assume it's a lot stronger on indoor maps because you can't see any of the two approach.

I once had Dead Man Switch equipped with Oni and RNG send us to Lerys. It was fun, whenever my power was up I just needed to take one sweep around the long tunnels and then just home in on the gens that turned white.
