PC - Green Knight Circles around corners of maps

Playing as Knight on PC, I have seen on several maps that green circles surround the corners of the map, like the ones that surround breakable walls, downed pallets, and running gens. I have recently seen it on the Skull Merchant’s reworked map and Dead Dawg Saloon. Is this intended for lore, or just a bug?
