Please fix specific frame drops on Switch
Most of the time that I play DbD on Switch, it almost guaranteed that I'll end up having drops in FPS even tho the game runs at max 30 fps, the game becomes really unplayable at certain points. I mainly play survivor so I'll leave my point of view from that perspective:
- Some killers for some reason affect fps more such as:
- Doctor (I suppose its because of his power or the level of details the character has(?) idk,
- Plague (You get infected, your fps drops hard)
- Dredge (when his power activates, also adding to this, when this character activates nightfall, you literally can't see nothing on switch, its pitch black)
- Wesker (When you are not infected, the game runs smoothly, it's just when you get infected when the game starts to go down)
2. The cosmetics that you are using
- Some cosmetics affect how you feel the game, I bought Kate's "Lady Volksfest" skin a while ago (just when Nemesis came out) and at that point DbD was going really good on switch, just now recently with all of the updates that the game has received, I just can't use this set anymore without accepting the fact that I'll have fps drops, I don't know if its because of the details or movement of the dress that cause this, but im pretty sure that this is not the only case
3. The maps
- On DbD, most of the maps kinda runs smoothly, and that's saying a lot from someone who plays on Switch, but whenever I get sent to Backwater Swamp, Red Forest (after the visual rework), Springwood, Racoon City and the new one "Dvarka Deepwood" realms, I will probably get fps drops, specially on Racoon City, since there are a lot of stuff going on at the same time there.
To finish this, I'll just say that I personally don't have the economic resources to play on another console + buying again the game + starting from scratch since NS doesn't have crossprogression, so at this point, If I want to play DbD this is the "only way" that I personally can do it, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that has this same issues. I haven't counted the killers perspective but I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of other problems there too, so please, if there's a way to make this game more enjoyable and playable on Switch, please consider it doing it.
(Sorry in advance if my english sometimes sounds weird 😊)

I completely agree. The Nintendo Switch is more than capable of handling this game and it should be able to do so just like any PC, PS, or Xbox. When I first started playing I was absolutely shocked, and I still miss skill checks that I know should’ve been great due to low FPS. Like you I do not want to purchase the same game twice and lose all of my progression not to mention I bought the game on Switch because that’s what I had - I can’t afford another gaming system. It just really sucks.
