The 400k BP from Prime Gaming

I remember there was a discussion about it and people were upset. I thought it wasn’t too bad considering we got outfits and a full rift pass previously. But now I saw where they said each reward for the next year will be BP. That seems like a gyp if it’s only gonna be 400k each time seeing as how this is a subscription that’s paid for. What do you guys think?

I didn't see where they said that, but it's one less reason to get Amazon Prime, I guess.

I think it's disappointing, but only in the "oh well" kind of way. This is what the Prime Gaming subscription rewards usually are, DBD was just well above the average in terms of quality for a while.
Side note, this is not a subscription that is paid for. Amazon Prime is a subscription that's paid for, and part of the benefits of Amazon Prime is Prime Gaming, and part of the benefits of Prime Gaming is a set of in-game rewards for a large number of games that includes Dead By Daylight. It's so far down the chain from the actual purchase that it's definitely not fair to consider it a paid reward. It's a freebie that came with a wider purchase.

I didn't see that. I really don't mind not getting exclusive cosmetics but I was really hoping we'd get a premium rift pass again :'(
It's still free stuff so I don't want to complain, but unless they at least double the amount of BPs it's going to go from "at least it's free" territory to "forgetting and not bothering redeeming the code over half the time" territory

So cancel prime? I use Amazon prime anyway so it's neither here nor there.
I don't claim the prizes because it takes longer to input the codes on console than it does to earn 400K BP by playing the game.

Edited because of double post

You’re right; the paid subscription is for a plethora of things rather than just the rewards for this one game. My issue, however, is that Amazon itself is consistently getting worse as time goes by. From their customer service to the subsidiary benefits… it’s all just kind of meh. I know there are people out there who use Prime mainly for the gaming part, and a number of those people solely for Dead by Daylight so they feel it a little bit more. Me? I’ll happily take the free BP, but it’s still disappointing and it pushes me further into thinking that Amazon Prime just might not be worth it anymore.

I've had Prime since before they teamed up with DBD, so it's all just bonus for me. I'm happy with whatever, though an occasional cosmetic would be nice

i understand it
save the reward for when Nicolas cage comes out so you have an automatic 400k to dump into him
