While playing on ps4, the game is forced to quit due to overheating.

I play on a PS4 and in the last month or two my PS4 console has suddenly become unusually hot and the game crashes more often than not. This is similar to a previous bug where the PS4 would load excessively and cause the unit to heat up abnormally, is there any chance that this has reoccurred?

Or is there something wrong with my PS4? If so, how should I address this? If anyone knows, please let me know.
