Hook effects are taking place to early

Since the 7.1.0 update the hook scream and hook effects like pain res are applies before the actual hook (the visual part of hooking) takes places. I really hope this is a bug.

Edit: happened in every match so far, different killers with different loadouts on different maps

Edit 2: this is one of the most annoying bugs ever. I think I'm gonna play something else until this is fixed.

    it is also effecting barbecue and chili i believe. so this is definitely a bug.

    Upvoted. Can confirm it happens in every single game, every single hook, without fail. I always run Scourge: Pain Res and it goes off much earlier in the animation than usual. The survivor being hooked also screams early.
