Pentimento shows a cleansed "Pentimento" totem as a white aura. Making it seem like it is able to be rekindled again even though it can't be. I was playing as sadako at the time, not sure if it is tied to that somehow.

Step 1 : Boot the game

Step 2 : Bring Hex: Pentimento + Haunted Grounds

Step 3: Have survivor cleanse haunted grounds

Step 4: Observe the white Aura on the totem

Step 5: Rekindle the totem to be a Pentimento

Step 6: Have the survivor cleanse Pentimento

Step 7: Observe the white aura on the totem even though it cannot be rekindled again.

    Playing as Spirit, Garden of Joy

    Perks: Save the Best for Last, Franklin's Demise, Hex: Plaything and Hex: Pentimento

    Addons: Rusty Flute and Rin's Broken Watch

    Playing The Dredge, Blood Lodge

    Perks: Hex: Ruin, Hex: Plaything, Mindbreaker and Hex: Pentimento

    Addons: Malthinker's Skull and Broken Doll

    Happened to me as well. Couldn't figure out why I couldn't re-light the highlighted totem.
