Suggestions changes to the in-game description of Spine Chill.
Written using machine translation. Sorry if it does not come across well.
I think it would be easier to understand if the in-game description of Spine Chill was changed.
I too thought at the time of the PTB that it was not as described and could be a bug.
I received a response that the current spec is not a bug in the PTB bug report, although I do not have access to it at this time.
There are currently several bug reports about Spine Chill.
Many people do not properly understand the changes in the Spine Chill specifications.
This may be due to the fact that the peaks description is difficult to understand.
The following portions of the current description have just been removed.
>Spine Chill's icon indicators the strength of the Killer's Terror Radius.
Thus, many people assume that only the distance meters have been removed.
Many people assume that just getting a killer (including stealth killers) within 36 meters will light up the icon even if they are not directly seen.
I suggest that the following description be changed for clarity.
>Get notified when the Killer is within is within a 36-meter rage.
for example
Only get notified when the Killer is within a 36-meter range and is looking at with a clear line of sight.

Yeah I agree it’s confusing now. Imo remove the first line and just say this:
”When the Killer is within 36 meters of your location and is looking at you with direct line of sight, get notified and gain a 2/4/6% action speed bonus to repairing, healing, sabotaging, unhooking, cleansing, blessing, unlocking, and opening. This effect lingers for 0.5 seconds after the Killer looks away or is out of range.”
