game going to low fps when turning with mouse

when play a game as killer, I struggle to play due to massive fps drops whenever I turn using my mouse.

this is not a hardware issue as I have way better than the minimum requirements. and can run triple A games with no issues.

The game runs completely fine before I get my first hit on a survivor but after that I cannot turn without going to around 10 fps.

I've tried many things but none have worked so hoping to get some help here.#

    I've been getting weird frame drops with this patch too. It's way more noticeable on killer (moving around a lot more), but I've seen it on both.
