Good survivor crutch perks for chase.
This one is for survivors who are middling/bad in chase, much like myself. I can keep a chase going for a decent time on a good day, but usually my chases barely break even for the time deficit you need to build of killer time wasted on chase vs survivor time wasted away from gens on unhooks heals etc.
Been figuring out perks that help and wanna see others have suggestions and tips.
1. Windows of opportunity: bit of an obvious one, but definitely the best, even for players who know the maps and tiles inside out it still prevents getting messed up by expecting a pallet that isn't there any more.
2. Troubleshooter: I have been loving this one recently, highlighting the gen with most progress is ok, and it can help with gens if you're feeling cheeky and running vittorio's quick gambit, particularlyon a multi level or poor LOS map like meat plant or lery's. Also good to lead killer using jolt away from a nearly finished gen. But the aura read when dropping a pallet is invaluable for survs who are iffy at looping. Personally i suck absolute ass when it comes to looping and keeping track of killer at high wall tiles. But with troubleshooter i can tell exactly where killer is going, rotate the opposite way and clear a bunch of distance while they are trying to mind game as killer has no notifications or cpunter for aura reads rn.
2.5: honourable mention to alert which basically does a similar thing but worse, and allows you to track killer outside of chase.
3. Exhaustion perks: this one is obviously based very much on personal preference. Imo the single easiest exhaustion perk to use, and therefore best for weak chase runners, is lithe. It's the easiest to trigger and requires very little setup to utilise. Other ones like sprint burst or balanced landing are good but require setup or for you to hamstring yourself by walking everywhere. Plus I find the lither speed boost is just as good at causing killer to miss lunges as well as just gaining raw distance when you have the breathing space.
4: quick and quiet: ilI feel this one is a bit slept on. But particularly when you're uninjured and killer is close it's often a good one to pop in a locker or sneak in a fast vault to confuse killer and squeeze out that extra bit of distance. Word of warning don't hide in the locker too long, killers can sus you out particularly quickly if you're injured best use that second or two of hesitation as they run past the locker to burst out and jumpa vault or reach a pallet.
5. Dance with me: This one I like, synergises extremely well with lithe and/or quick and quiet. Speed increase, silent vault and hidden scratch marks all off of one vault is pretty damn good and has let me legitimately slip away from more than a few chases.
Those are my personal top picks to help out weaker chasers, optimum build IMO is windows, lithe, q&q and dance with me. Interested to hear any other pointers or suggestions. Hope this helps ppl.

Overcome, Lucky Break, Bite the Bullet (with a medkit), and something like Windows or Quick and Quiet. So easy to lose them and waste time. Too easy actually, I got bored using it.

overcome and lucky break are very nasty if the map lets you break los
