Should I sell my DBD Nightmare Edition PS4 disc?

With zero news about the future of cross progression, I don't know what to do with my disk.


I moved to PC from PlayStation after moving to a whole different continent in 2022. I didn't buy a PS5 again due to the PS5 scalpers (individuals who buy high-demand products, usually limited in quantity, to sell at a much higher rate than retail value) that made buying a PC seem like a more sensible choice. I put countless hours into the game ever since I got it for Christmas in 2020 (around 1,200) and I mained Nancy almost the entire time. She is literally the only reason I want cross-progression. It seems weird only wanting a singular character after putting in so many hours but yeah. My DBD journey basically started with her.


After moving from a PS4 to a PS5 (I managed to get one after waiting in a five hour online queue on March 10th, 2021), I was given the option to upgrade my disk to the PS5 version. I obviously did just that just to realize my Stranger Things content was gone. I don't know if there even was a way to upgrade it and keep the content at the same time. So I kept playing on the PS4 version. Never even cared for the upgraded PS5 version.


Even selling this disk won't be enough to get the DLC on Steam which is a little crazy. I could probably get around $100 for the disk but the Steam DLC is worth $300+.


I need all the help I can get please. The amount it sells for is really good but it's not just about that.
