Dedicated server error leading to a 6 hour ban
Can you make it so your game understands the difference between deliberate DC and a DC due to your servers? Having a 6 hour ban thanks to being disconnected consistently is very annoying and unfair. Why should players be penalized for an issue with your servers? Please fix this, I'm not the only one.

If they do temporarily disable disconnect penalties until they resolve this, it will increase the number of disconnects from players who don't like the map, the killer, or getting caught first. This will let everyone get a feel for how well bots do to curb rampant disconnects.
If the bots do well enough, then the devs could consider removing the disconnect penalty permanently, and then remove survivors ability to intentionally die on the hook prematurely.

As much as I wish that they’d be able to teach the game to know the difference between an intentional disconnect and a forced one…. I just don’t see that happening. It sucks when you get disconnected in the middle of a game and get zero points for something that wasn’t your fault. Personally, I think one thing that would help is lowering the time penalty on bans. There’s no reason someone should be locked out of a game for 6 HOURS even if they chose to disconnect. It just hurts the people who have no control over the situation.

This is another reason why I made the post about putting a cap on the DC penalty stack...

same here brother, i got 1 hour dc penalty for free because everyone in the lobby was kicked by the server yesterday and it happened at the morning on my region too , 2 DCs penaltys just because the server died , lmao , and no is not my ping.
the game even told me "Dedicated not responding" and the killer even commented on my profile for that.

The same problem has been happening to me over the past few days. Everyone in the lobby gets DC'd with this error and gets a penalty. No network interruptions in any other games, in call, watching videos, ect, just DBD.

I've had a post about this... A purposeful disconnect requires one to physically click a button. The devs should be able to easily track this. So, no, it would not be difficult for them to distinguish between a purposeful DC and an internet issue one. They are just to busy making new costumes and tweaking perks to deal with it.
