Moving to the next gen (xbox)

So i am on xbox one an thinking of getting the xbox series x next year what does that mean for my dbd account do i have to start a fresh or is there a process to change over or is it just linked to my xbox acount an all i have to do is log in.
I have DBD on disc version.
