I went against this earlier and didn't know about the patch. I actually thought they were cheating it was that bad.

For the record I have played more survivor than killer since MFT came out.
I have a balanced perspective of the game but man BHVR you seem so detached.

MFT is the real issue here , not vaults , a game shouldnt be balanced around a bug that just benefits the killer unintentionally , even worst if you know how BS vaulting as survivor is in this game is just a desync fest of getting hit from miles away or not.
but yes MFT needs to be either reworked or gutted to the groud for good , am all for it. but let vaults alone jeez , those are pretty bad even with the vault fix , you can still be hit from miles away against vpn / laggy players.
and as someone who plays a lot m1 killers more than survivors , i have to say , is a pure skill isssue , i personally have 0 problems timing my lunges , tho... I have to admit that now my hits no longer connect when they shouldnt WHICH IS GOOD so far because if as killer I do a swing to late I should be punished by that not just hit the suvivor when they are already on the other side of the windows like decent far away and still get hit somehow thats just BS on my screen and even worst on the survivor POV.

I agree before as survivor I was getting hit at times that just felt stupid when vaulting. I'm not sure how my weapon going through a survivors body is any less stupid though.
Na no skill issue here as killer. I'm just getting tired of BHVR trying to balance the game around skill less beginners at the detriment of going against already good players.
I'm having my moments as survivor too now so no skill issue either but thanks for judging my skill which you haven't a clue about.

But teleporting back to the window after you've already legged it away and then getting hit was fine, right?

I personally haven't felt that vaults where off before but I main pig so....
I definitely feel it in demo though.
Close hits at windows like shack don't hit anymore.

You're complaining that they fixed a bug that was in the game for literally years because it is now more disadvantageous and drop vaults look bad (which they did before the teleport bug was even a thing, too), and by that logic because you're complaining about how it is now then it's likely you thought it was fine then, hence why I made my comment.

I have only played the game about 3 years so I have no idea what it was like before. Seems odd taking that long to fix it?
They decided to do it when killers already have enough garbage to deal with. Real troopers.
Could you hit through peoples bodies then too?

Once you get used that you dont get the hits anymore that you should not have gotten in the first place, it will be fine.
