Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance in Basement
The PR-hook spawns on some maps make it at times very difficult to be able to use Pain Resonance. If you're unlucky or have a survivor using Boil Over or a SWF with sabo then it's basically close to impossible to get to a PR-hook before they wiggle off.
I was wondering why PR-hooks aren't also applied to the basement hooks, like the new Monstrous Shrine. This way at least you have a certain hook-spawn that can be used, especially on very big maps or maps with odd hook-spawns like Midwich.

Because Monstrous Shrine is the perk that changes basement hooks into Scourge hooks, that's the point.
You're increasing your Scourge Hook resource, that costs something, in this case a perk slot.

Yes, and? I didn't ask you to describe MS to me. Also, its main objective is to accelerate the sacrificing process. What does that have to do with PR?
I'm asking to apply the basement hook aspect of it to PR, that's an entirely different thing.

Pain Resonance is one of the best perks in the game. With it being already pretty strong, I don't mind the RNG aspect of it because that's what makes it balanced. Furthermore, I don't think it needs a buff now.
Plus, whenever I use Pain Resonance and play against someone who has Boil Over, I still make it to my Pain Resonance. This is when I'm even playing on Swamp.

If you want basement hooks to be SH, then use MS.
