So when are twins gonna be removed
That have a play rate of probably .02% and not a single good change to them
Like honestly they don't even exist really

Why would that mean they'd need to be removed...?
It should surely mean that they need changes, which we already know they're getting.

I have a blast with them. I don't main them but they are definitely part of my rotation.

They said Twins rework is not ready yet and it will come out 2024 early.
1 -
Make them Co-op Killers
3 -
That would be interesting but no one wants to play the m1 killer and I could play demo if I wanted to be Victor but betterb

2024 twins came out 2 or 3 years ago did they have 1 person makeing the rework and the coding? This whole time
1 -
same time nurse is removed, never, even though the game would be better without both
0 -
The rework is gonna change everything. Just you wait.
Or don't. Because they will stay by the original and only make some small changes to them. I think it will be similar to Ghostface.

Idk why twins pickrate is so low but they're my favourite killer and I am not looking forward to the rework in the slightest

I don't think you realize how scary it is for many people seeing topics like this. Freddy was completely reworked and that was painful enough for countless people, but to completely remove a killer? And for what reasoning? I'm not trying to be inflammatory or passive-aggressive, I just legitimately don't understand the reasoning behind this request. If "no one" plays as them, why is removing the Twins even necessary? Even if they do have as low of a pick rate as the example you gave, you'd be erasing a killer they love for no other reason beyond other people not playing as that killer.
What if we removed the top-picked killers in this game? Would that be unjustifiable because, "Well, lots of people like playing them?" If so, it basically amounts to, "You don't make up a majority or popular choice, so your opinions don't matter." People playing with mixed up perk builds or just people otherwise shaking things up by deviating from popular playstyles already deal with a lot of crap just because they're typically not up to par with people who are taking the beaten path. Why compound on that by removing a killer that allows them an unconventional playstyle?
Maybe it wasn't the intention of this topic, but it comes across very uncaring of others' wants. If 99.98% of people don't play as the Twins, that's fine. Why remove the killer with the only justification basically being that .02% of people just don't matter because, well, they don't belong to a higher percentage?

They said that it’s not just simple number fixes this is a major rework of the character. This is a Freddy level rework

True I fear the worst with that rework... it's a fun killer as it is, controlling victor is unique it's a bit like nurse you can ignore normal mechanics, we already have enough generic m1 killers
3 -
You make valid point I'm being sarcastic their just so bad you don't see them

It will have to be next year. The community has decided this year's remove killer quota has been met already by SM. She came in like a wrecking ball and stole this year's nomination with her captivating 3-gen performance. Bravissimo!

I say something more similar along the lines of Clown where they just add on to the power in addition to some number changes
0 -
And we're positive they haven't canceled the changes?
0 -
Last we heard about them was the recent reddit AMA, which wasn't that long ago. I doubt they've been cancelled.

I'm pretty sure people only main twins is because they hate themselves.

i mean, myers is utter dog crap and i highly doubt many people play him because of that, is that a reason why myers should be removed?

Ahh, okay. I understand. Personally, I don't see why the Twins are as bad as people say. Or bad at all, really. The only reason I don't main Charlotte and Victor is because my aim with Victor is really bad and needs a lot of work, which is something I'm trying to steadily work on over time. Once I've chipped away at getting better with them, they'll probably be one of the killers I play the most.
I'm honestly very scared of a Freddy tier complete rework. Not just for the Twins, but for any killer. If the developers have an idea that would completely change the killer's power, why not just make that a new killer entirely? Then people who like the original killer will get to keep them and people who wanted something different will have the new killer.
I'm of the opinion that a complete rework should never be the solution, personally. But what do you guys think?

Oh god. Please no. Don't jinx it! We do not need another Freddy incident. I'm still not over the trauma of Forever Freddy.
Jokes aside, I somewhat doubt that they're going to change that much but we'll have to see. It cannot really get any worse because Twins are pretty much a dead character anyway. I can't even remember the last time I saw someone play Twins.
Actually, scratch that. I played Twins when they were bugged.
1 -
That's no reason to remove them. I actually watch a streamer that is a Twins main and she tends to get a 4K most matches.
2 -
Hopefuly never.
Don't know everyone's hatred about Twins. Just played them yesterday, very fun to me.
Victor's "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" and "Ooooaaaaaaaaaaaah!" are priceless too.
By the way, if someone answer me, I would be grateful.
Ok, some complaints I heard and rather understand:
Skull Merchant - forever 3 gen.
Old Sadako - slugfest.
Artist/Knight - hold W (absolutely pointless complaint because it's basically for every killer, unless you Ayrin/JRM)
Pyramid/Nemi/Wraith/Trickster - tunnel-tunnel-tunnel
For a certain extent: Bubba (because almost no one plays like "play" him and he's just an airvent for miserable dunces)
But what Twins did wrong?

This would just imply they need buffed, not deleted

The Twin's whole playstyle revolves heavily around slugging and camping, more so than any other killer in the game. For Survivors, if your not constantly making sure to be healed up you'll just end up losing the match because Victor is unloopable and gets downs incredibly easy, and for Killers if your not slugging and camping chances are you'll lose because of how awful their time efficiency is. Speaking of Victor he has a million and one issues for both sides as well like how his hitbox on the survivor perspective looks absolutely unfair and as Killer having to deal with his awful FOV and tendency to get caught on invisible objects makes playing as him unfun for both sides.
There are also a million more things I haven't mentioned like how unfun it is to be kicked by a survivor, how awful most of the twin's addons are, how every single time you land a hit as Victor you have to wait for 5 seconds for your cool down to end and 3 seconds to regain control of charlotte, victor sometimes randomly dying on stairs because of how his death, survivors holding victor turning you into a boring and weak M1 Killer with some map knowledge, how easily maps can screw you over, need I go on?

Well, if I understood correctly, problems in three ways: bad playstyle, technical issues and some inconveniences. In my personal experience, I could name lot of killers that feels much much worse. The only thing I see that should be taking into account is technical problems (Victor's interaction with map) and hostage problem.
But in general, I still don't understand why are they hated that much. If we start same problem-list for any killer, it would be no less (some aspects less, but some bigger).
Maybe I don't have enough DbD experience, only 1600h, but I'd definetely choose to play Twins over Blight and Oni by far, for example.

No need to remove a killer if they arent used much. Like unless there is a copyright issue there is no legitimate reason to take a killer out of the game. Just wait for the rework.
