PlayStation 5 question: Two consoles

Hi folks. I’ve recently taken a new job that requires me to be away from home for decent periods of time. I didn’t want to drag a PS5 with me so I’ve bought a new one (yes I know that’s ridiculous). So I now have a PS5 at my home and one at my accommodation while I’m working away.

I’ve just set up the new PS5 and logged into my PlayStation account, and I can download my games to the new console without paying again. So far so good… but. When DBD loads in I’m at zero progress and it wants me to play the tutorial. Am I missing something or does DBD’s annoying lack of cross progression even apply to two of the same console?

Well...my progress mostly transferred fine when I transitioned from Xbox one to Series X (although I had to accept terms of use again and was missing some currency) so this is either a PS-exclusive issue or a bug, I'd first submit a ticket to BHVR. Whether they are able to help is unclear but they likely will be able to understand what's happening.

If it doesn't work, contact customer/tech support for the console you use and they might be able to shed some light.
