My Suggested Low Profile Buff
Here is the current Low Profile
Low Profile only activates whenever you are the last survivor and or all your teammates except for you are in the dying state. This makes it very difficult to activate to be useful because, by the time you are the last survivor, you would benefit more from a perk like adrenaline, hope, sole survivor, etc.
Definition of low profile - a position of avoiding or not attracting much attention or publicity
- My suggested change would be
Whenever another teammate gets injured or downed in 32 meters (distance can be changed) your scratch marks, pools of blood will be suppressed, and grunts of pain will be suppressed at 50% for 33 seconds. This can stack to a maximum of 99 seconds. If multiple survivors get hit in this range it will stack up to a maximum of 99 seconds.
Whenever you are the only survivor in the trial. who is not either in the Dying state or hooked your meter of low profile will be filled to the maximum of 99 seconds.
This will make it so the perk will provide value throughout the match and can be used to get sneaky saves or sneak away. This will also allow you to make your sneaky escape when you're the last survivor alive.

Self-Preservation already does this, and it's a rarely used perk. Why make a perk that does the same thing but better? What reason would anyone have to use Self-Preservation at that point?

My issue with Low Profile is how much of its duration is wasted if the only other survivor remaining is hooked and is refusing to give up and let you have the hatch.
If we were to rework the perk, and base it on the definition you've provided, I would prefer that it lessen the disturbance of grass, bushes, and corn stalks, and/or suppress coughing/puking fits (noises) while affected by such killer powers.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Low profile is so bad that I had to remake a perk and slap the ending of low profile on it. So the title should actually be called buffing Self Preservation. This just goes to show how there are so many perks that are just plain simply near useless. But then we can have a perk like made for this which can have an indefinite 3% speed + endurance.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I guess the title should be called buffing self preservation. I just think more of these perks that give small niche effects need some buffs.

trigger condition on the perk is not good. you only activate effect when everyone is dead or the game already lost. I think if you could use this perk proactively during the match, it would be an amazing stealth and juke perk. Like press activation button 2 to trigger the perk, it drains the perk up to a max of 90 seconds, you can press activation button 2 while running to cancel the perk with cooldown of 15 seconds. At the same time, I am not sure that killer want to face a perk like that where they randomly lose survivors that they are chasing so it is likely bad for reason.
