Clown bottles are swapping out post-throw

When you throw a bottle, if you swap bottle types before the thrown bottle breaks open, its bottle type changes. This forces clown to wait until a thrown bottle breaks open before being allowed to swap to a different type. I'm assuming this is a bug (I don't play Clown), as it makes no logical sense when you see a yellow bottle tossed and purple busts out.
