Hey Devs, is there any reasons why the skull check odds for healing seem to be lowered when using the perk autodidact, which relies on healing skill checks as it’s core function? I’ve seen people estimate that it drops skill check odds to as low as 40%. Thoughts?

there is in fact a reason.
confirmation bias.

It's hit and miss. I've had auto didact heals with 3 skill checks and some with only 1.

Autodidact has a hidden Desire Sensor
You are not going to get any healing skillchecks when you are using it, and get several hundred healing skillchecks when you aren't using it, just the way this cruel world works
