Biopod Value Challenge
Hey all,
I'm trying to complete the Biopod Value Challenge, located in the most recent tome level 2. To complete the challenge you need to "In a chase deploy a biopod and slipstream tag or slipstream teleport from the same biopod to the Survivor that you are chasing as the Singularity 4 times". I swear I've completed this challenge multiple times now, but it isn't taking. Not sure what I am doing wrong, essentially I am reading it as you need to be in a chase with someone, so that should be indicated by the music changing (right?), deploy a biopod and from that same biopod you need to tag or teleport to that person. I've done that, so anyone else having difficulty with it? Any suggestions?

My best guess is a combination of mechanics. I think when you enter camera mode it drops chase, but when you drop chase, it lingers for 5s so you can start it back up again. You might be in that grace period before entering camera mode on one of them, which means you ran out of the 5s timer before the server could register the projectile hitting the Surv.
Also based on my read of the tome, the teleport version only gives credit if it is done from the camera, not while running.
The chase music continues during the grace period, so it isn't a 1 to 1 comparison for being in chase sadly.

Stupid challenge started working after I restarted the game. BHVR needs to fix this annoying bugs. This isn't the first time this has happened to me.

Your dealing with a bug I sometimes get where the archive bugs out and basically ignores all progress on the challenge your doing. No matter what you do entering the archives won't fix it or doing anything else other then simply restarting the game.
Though I got this challenge done easily but simply putting a Midwich offering on since when it comes to these kinds of challenges I want to get them over with quickly.

It worked fine for me, but it's a janky mechanic, perhaps the chase is dropping for a second after dropping the pod and before you manage the mark?
Tbh best way to guarentee getting it is just have a farming game. Make friends with survs and then you can farm it easily ennough.
