does anybody else hate coldwind as killer?
i just want to know how many people agree with me. i dont like coldwind farm as killer because i cant see who im chasing half the time because everyone runs into the corn fields and scratch marks become useless because of how hard they are to follow. is this just a problem i have or not?

It's hard in the corn, especially as some killers such as hillbilly, legion or nurse. But at the same time its an advantage for killers like freddy, pig and hag who are harder to see in the corn.

Principally Rotten Fields.i like coldwind as a map but if i get it on killer i might as well quit and get in to a new game and hope it isnt on coldwind. i had a game on rotten fields today where i got no kills because it was a 4 man swf were the only person worth chasing was a rank 2 jeff because when i downed someone else and pick them up he would appear from no wear and flashlight blind me. the only way i could get a kill was if i camped him but everyone had borrowed time so that was stupid. im only rank 13 but i know i could be around rank 9 if i could be bothered but why should i play against people in red and purple ranks. i got a bit side tracked but i wouldnt wish that game upon my worse enemy.

Depends on which Killer. The Farms are to Huntress and Michael as Building maps are to Hillbilly and Leatherface (at least in my experience.) But other Killers, such as Amanda, are pretty decent on that map.

billy does fine on the farm because most of it is still a wide open space. Leatherface is just bad in general, but the farm is probably one of the better maps for him.
Huntress and buildings are a bad combination though. At least she can see where she is aiming, even if she can't hit much. It's one of the few things that bring her down for me.

I used to hate it at the beginning, but you eventually get used to it.
Just look down and follow the scratchmarks, ignore the corn.2 -

billy does fine on the farm because most of it is still a wide open space. Leatherface is just bad in general, but the farm is probably one of the better maps for him.
Huntress and buildings are a bad combination though. At least she can see where she is aiming, even if she can't hit much. It's one of the few things that bring her down for me.
i wouldnt really know how they do because i dont play them. also, leather face seems alright to me.

As a Michael main I hate it. That corn blindness trying to tier up is frustrating. Its not so bad with scratched mirror Michael though.0

Before Coldwind Farm, I liked corn. I liked the smell, I liked the taste, I used it in just about every recipe. Now, I can't stand it. Makes me wish they'd release a flamethrower Killer whose power would be to burn down ALL plant life, including the ######### corn.

I don't like it, but I don't hate it as a Killer.
I love the maps as a Survivor. As a Killer I find it to be one of the most fun maps. Following the scratches, spotting Survivors running, or couching, in the corn, and getting them when they think they can lose me in the corn.

It's actually not bad once you get used to it and recognize the usual places people will go and on Trapper and Hag those places are golden for setting traps.
I main Spirit now and I don't usually have an issue provided i'm paying attention to both where the corn is moving and where scratch marks lead.

Farm maps are utter trash for killer. Corn is the least of your problems the loops allow for zero mindgames as you can see the killer through the walls and their are little to no pallet loops that arent safe. These maps meed a rework espicially if your myers your power should work in corn.

Everybody hates it. That's why survivors burn 5 of these offerings in one session. It has the safest loops, see through walls so no mindgames, and corn which makes survivors, especially claudettes disappear. You can tell they're some of the oldest maps just by how bad the design feels in 2018.

ok i'll try it again. im not a big fan because totem spots are horrific but i only tried it once. its also not max and im not leveling my trapper again till i prestige him. i also dont want to switch any of my perks out.

Everyone dc'ing on coldwind it seems.
If it comes up naturally I don't dc. The first offering or two I can roll with as well. If there's more than that in one night though THEN I dc. It's not fair to expect someone to spend most of their playtime on one set of maps.

i just had a game on coldwind as legion where i didnt dc (because i brought a green mori) and used ruin (my second game ever using it and first game using it today) where i didnt get butt raped within the first five seconds of the game. it lasted till just after i hooked the first survivor. it was a 4k game btw. i thought you might want to know.
