You know what's cool? when we see the survivor doing their thing in the trailer for the chapter, and specially if their thing is standing up against the killer with no or almost no fear.

look at yui,

she doesn't even look worried, just a "guess I gotta deal with this now" look. and she sidesteps oni's attack, which is cool.

and haddie

has that determined look when turning to face the dredge.

and vittorio

only really starts looking concerned when he sees he's surrounded.

it's cool that most survivors are terrified during their trailers. but I really like when the survivors "step up". even in small ways, like when after the lights turn on, thalita and renato have each others back until they see where the killer is. (and they are holding hands, which is cute)

so, it kind of bothers me when we get a trailer that only focus on the killer. like blight's or deathslinger.

which are good trailers...

but you get to the end and "btw, there's also this felix guy" and zarina wasn't even shown as a png. and I wanna see what the survivors are about aswell.

which leads me to my final point... it's really weird to see the survivors not act like expected

feng min in lore relishes the challenge of the trials, in trailer she is just like any random scared survivor. (which I'll excuse here a bit, cause the trailer is old)

gabriel soma in lore didn't just run from hux, he led him into a trap and blew him the ######### up. which didn't do anything, but you know, he tried stuff.

and I mean, surely recreating that scene when he blows hux up only for it to be innefective would have been a great end for the trailer right?

and that's it. I like that we are on a trend of survivors getting a bit more focus on the trailers. they deserve it.

Am I alone in this? do most people not actually care about the survivors doing stuff in cutscenes and such?
