Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Quality of Life Update for Some Killer Perks

Killers have so much to focus on in a match, and I don't think I should have to keep track of my perks because that just makes it more complicated. Survivors get so much info on what their teammates are doing. Why can't killers get a little info update that doesn't buff the perk but just helps you keep track?

  • Tinkerer

Tinkerer triggers only once on each gen and sometimes it's difficult to know how many and which generators have triggered Tinkerer. I think it would be useful to see how many generators have triggered tinkerer. So Tinkerer will get a guarantee 5 stacks meaning 5 generators have triggered Tinkerer.

  • Merciless storm

Merciless Storm gets a stack each time it triggers to indicate that a generator has started to receive the skill checks from Merciless Storm. This will reassure you that each gen has been affected in some way and will also be a little handy info to try to interrupt those skill checks.

  • Hex: Devour of Hope

When Devour is completely cleansed it loses all of its stacks so you know that the perk is permanently gone. If you have undying it will keep the stacks when undying gets cleansed or vice versa. This way I don't have to question if my devour was lost or a different totem was cleansed.

  • Hex: Plaything

For each survivor that gets hooked and gets a plaything totem it will gain a stack, that way if you don't remember who you haven't hooked yet you'll see a stack be gained. Stacks don't improve the perk it's just helping you count the use of the perk.

  • Hex: Face the Darkness

Face the Darkness in the perk hud will constantly show that it exists by showing the perk tier color. When Face The Darkness isn't up it will have 0 stacks to show that it's not on a totem and active. Once it's active it will gain 1 stack to show that it has taken the place of a dull totem. If the injured survivor that activated Face The Darkness gets downed or Healed it will go back to 0 stacks to indicate that the perk is no longer taking the place of a dull totem. Once Face The Darkness has been cleansed it will appear faded black in the hud to indicate it was cleansed.

  • Overwhelming presence

overwhelming presence gets a stack for each time someone attempts to use an item in your terror radius. This way you can see if you actually get value from this perk that gives you no feedback on whether or not it's draining items.

Note - None of these stacks make the perks more powerful it simply helps you keep track of the perk and its effects.

I don't see any harm in giving these perks just a tad bit of information to help killers get a grasp on their situation or position in the match. I would love to get some feedback on what you guys think, and if you think of any other perks that could use a change like this.
