Can someone tell me how come the new turrets don't seem to work.
Almost every time I use them and Xenomorph gets blasted with flames for a few seconds he is still in crawler mode. Is the point of the turret not to put him out of crawler mode? Can someone please help.
Also why can you not place them literally anywhere in RPD like Xenomorph is too powerful on those maps.
I edited it to say that he was in there for a few seconds like 3-5 seconds

It doesn't take him out immediately. He needs to be in it for a couple seconds for it to wear off.
Also, the stagger is very negligible once he does get kicked out, so make sure you're not right besides him.
As for the RPD thing... dunno. Collission shenanigans, most likely.

99% of xenomorphs use or will use 2 anti-turret addons, so yeah, just think of them as distraction for killer that may sometimes help

RPD is a really cramped map they did made turret placement changes reducing the size of it to make it easier to place since PTB. Haven't gotten RPD since Alien release or on PTB so can't know myself.

this shouldnt be a thing, in most matches the turrets dont actually do anything so we all just get slugged for the 4k because the tail is literally stupid strong.

tail its literally nemesis tentacle, same counter, same workaround. Just change direction unpredictably, fake windows vaults, etc... usually works, but its just day 1, so idk if xenomorphs will learn to use power somehow more effeciently in future.

I hate how the turrets don't force the xeno to drop the survivor after getting blasted by FLAMES . Solid Design choice/s

A survivor could just bring Saboteur and set the turrets near any Scourge Hooks and potentially cancel out a killer perk. Or even just near any hooks closest to the gens being worked on.

That would sure be a nice additional mechanic of strategy to add to the Survivor side of the game. Does seem silly he walks right through it. Can only have 4 turrets out at one time. I don't see the issue.

The point of the turrets is to slow the killer down while you run away. It gives the killer an option to either deal with the turrets, or lose his power to get the survivor.
If you place two turrets near a generator it will kick him out of power, and you can easily escape. Correct turret placement is on survivor part. I do think the placements for certain maps need to be better. Sometimes I have to walk forever or go back, and forth to just find a spot to place the turret in. This is my only complaint so far with the DLC. It specially needs to be looked at on RPD, the placement for turrets on that map sucks.

This is the only issue I have with it too everything else is amazing since I now know how turrets work but RPD is such a pain
