Alien´s hitboxes/hits are broken

Hey everyone,

My today experiences are these:

We were playing a few games with the new killer - Alien, what we have seeen was disgusting...

From these games I can confirm that the killer will be nerfed soon, because if you can with this killer hitting the survivor behind the objects, when you even dont see thim, that is terrible. Another problem is running mode cooldown. You can burn the killer by flamethrower, but how long is there a cooldown, because it instantly recharge and broken tail attacks are on stage again.. The main reason, why I am writing this is that Xenomorph´s tail attack trajectory doesnt connects with reality, trajectory says the attack was planned on this direction but you get hit in diffrent direction and then it can happen, you get hits when you are behind corners.

Main question is, is that bug? Or players just exploiting the game as they do with blight (hug techs), wesker (skinny wesker), etc...

    Mixture of lag + nemesis coding is the reason why you're getting hit. The tail does have a lingering hitbox that you can run back into and get hit.

    Knocking it out of runner mode mans it either chases you with M1 for a while or breaks chase, what do you want it to do, kill it?

    Using turrets effectively can shut it down and be really annoying, basically adding time to begin any chase. I have seen survivors already learn to place turrets so that I have to commit fully to being burned to break the turret, and that sucks from a killer pov.

    in short, skill issue. As survivors get better at using and placing turrets, itll be fine.

    Sounds more like usual dbd hitbox + latency issue than his tail issue imo
