Why do all Xenomorph killers tunnel?
Played 14 games today. 12 of which are Xeno killers (as to be expected on launch day), but why are all of them tunneling to the extreme? Every single one of them goes after one survivor, even after the unhook. It's pathetic and really odd to me, I've never seen a killer so reliant on getting a kill from tunneling.
I'm worried this is the norm for the killer- granted tunneling always happens in DbD but not to this extent. This is honestly not fun and really toxic. Are new players joining the game from this chapter that are just bad/unaware of game mechanics? I'm so confused.

I used tunnels a lot, it's a good way to regain your ability faster. I'm tunneling after every chase pretty much by using BBQ and chilli.
You should try it yourself btw.

Adept Achievement.

Always happens on release day, as players are trying to figure out a killer they're not comfortable with yet they tunnel to compensate.

This happens every killer release. People aren’t confident with the killer yet.
2 -
People always tunnel when a new killer releases because it's quick and easy way to win that works on every killer and you don't need to understand the killer's power to do it.

I quess they're trying the adept achiement and tunneling is usually best way to get it as you got no gen defence. I only played 2 games as survivor so I don't know if it's that common other tunneled and other did opposite. I had one alien just 8 hooking us and not killing anyone at the end when he had chance even he was trying adept.
He definetely should take someout sooner. He could done that without tunneling. I did the alien adept on my first game with tunneling but not immediatelly I had 5 hooks before first kill. Tunneling is not toxic it's stragedy. It is sweaty yes definetely and mean to do at 5 gens.

How BBQ helps you tunnel? It supposed to do opposite if you mean getting someone else down and hooked with it help and then seeing earlier survivor with BBQ and going after them that is not tunneling. That's being smart.

BBQ really help tho. Without it I wouldn't know where to tunnel next, I'd have to guess and move around looking for footsteps after a hook. I think this is not how you tunnel practically. You wasting more time tunneling to another survivor.
If you tunneling on Xeno without using info perks, you probably very lucky, or you have insane game awareness, which is insanely good for you sir!
The best way to tunnel imo by using info perks, it's the same with Sadako's tvs.

It's a joke about the double meaning of the word "tunnel" and how the Alien uses underground passages, or Tunnels, to get around the map.
