PC - Crash after intro video

My game crashes after or when the introduction video starts.
It will usually play the video, but then afterwards I am unable to click anything and access the main menu.
The Windows Task Manager would sayd "no response".
I have been having this issue for at least a year, tried every common solution I could find and nothing works.
I try every now and then and still nothing.
I am using Windows 7 (but I have seen people running DbD on it apparently) and nVidia GeForce GTX 960.
This makes me very sad since I have been playing this game since launch, have spent 4k hours on it and bought every DLC until 2 years ago or so.
Please send help :)
