About family share and DLC ownership

Hey, so Im currently playing DBD with the steam family share feature, the account that shares the game has all the DLC's but with the sales on steam right now Im hesitating in buying the game so I can play it anytime.

The issue is that I dont know if I will keep the perks I got from prestiging some DLC's characters even if I dont own them.

Let's say that I prestiged Ghostface to prestige 3, if I buy the game alone so no DLC's will Trapper still have the ghostface perks that I had by prestiging him ? Or will I have to buy Ghostface ?
