The real DBD (my opinion)
Hi all,
I've left some negative comments in my time hear and I'd like to apologise for some, not all, but some of these. I hear all the time, a bout perks that are OP and perks that need to be buffed. I don't really agree with all of these. I've never really had an issue with perks, some add on's, absolutely. Things are definitely getting more balanced with these, especially from the early days of the game.
My belief is, there is only 1 issue with this game for solo que, MMR. Perks and add on's can be countered. Only skilled Killers and Survivors know how to use perks and add on's, or a combination of the 2, to their full potential. These can also be played against, if you have the knowledge and experience to compete with such killers. I believe that the focus should be to stop focusing on the perks people moan about and focus on MMR, it's making the game boring for some older players but more so, new players.
The other issue is of course SWF's. I have nothing against SWF's but, it's unbelievably difficult to counter a SWF, even if your an experienced DBD killer. I wouldn't way rule these out of the game, part of the game is to play with friends, but this also raises the massive issue regarding MMR. How is a fairly new killer going to compete. I have many hours in this game but, definitely lack in killer experience. Every time I play killer 4 of 5 games is against a SWF of 2 or more who are far better at the game than I.
Most people play DBD when they have a bit of free time for some fun. This is not fun for most. I appreciate this game is impossible to balance perfectly but, I recon that if the focus was more on the above, this game would be more fun and fair for all.
