Burning out Dbd

I am not sure if this is even a game issue or i just need a break from Dbd in general, but i feel really anemic to the game.

Survivor just feels bad, there are way too many killers now that remove the solo skill expression. I get that survivor is a team effort, but it's still frustrating.

Killer is not that much better, feels like a toin coss between you demolishing a team or getting demolished.

I thought the Alien chapter was going to give the energy back, but i played it for a bunch of hours when it came and now i have no desire to go back.

Maybe i am just burned out, maybe it's a me issue, meybe it's the game.

Just wanted to know how is everyone feeling?

I actually feel the same. I'm just playing whenever the desire strikes me at this point. Likely just burn out, it happens.

Literally go play anything else. Burn out is a normal part of human behavior. I've had it where I despised playing the game. I took a 2 week break and played something else and came back having the time of my life on Blight.

There are plenty of other games in the Steam. No need to settle with one.

We all get burned out of a game... especially if it's the same thing every time one plays the game

    1) getting Camped, Tunneled, 3Gen'd, Gens being done in 5 minutes (give or take)

    2) facing the same Killers whom play the same way, and facing Survivors whom all play the same way as well

    3) Playing on the same Maps (like how many times can one play on the same map and still have fun)

Just as fun as always, more so with Xeno.

Stopped for a while because hey I played a lot of it and basically got bored.

So many games out there that I wouldn't say I play a lot of DBD anymore but I still play enough.

In the meantime I've also sunk hundreds of hours into Age of Wonders 4

Played through another full run of Evil Genius (the original) as Maximilian

Finished NOLF 1 and 2 again.

Got a mirrored version of classic zoo tycoon and built a dino park.

Painted a bunch of miniatures, played a bunch of boardgames and went on holiday.

If you're feeling burned out or bored then the simple solution is change up how you play by switching sides play more killer or more survivor, or cut back how much you play and do something else for a bit. I mean its a game not a job.
