Invisible glitch with trap mine perk

I was playing a match and repairing a generator, the wraith popped behind me, I got nervous and used the perk, the my character was left doing the gen repair animation and I was invisible to only the killer and myself, I played around and found out that you stay that way until you repair again.
I think I used it then ran away, or used it and repaired for a split second and then ran away, I don't exactly know how it works
