Are these idle survivor lobby animations intended?

I don't know if anyone noticed that change but survivors lobby animations don't fully play when holding an item they just stand still and don't do their unique animations.
That's not even big of a deal i just wonder was it an intended change that didnt need to be mentioned in the patch notes?

I mean. That should obviously be intended. Cant do full animation if ur holding an item. Otherwise, it wouldnt look right doing certain things while holding the items.

You’ll notice their right hands are rather occupied when holding an item.
You’ll also notice they need those right hands to do the animations.

I mean yeah but they used to do more than standing still when holding an item while back
