Do you think the Devs will ever make characters carry over between platforms?

I think this would be really cool and fair for people who have more than one gaming console e.g, playstation and PC or Xbox and switch or even mobile. Anyone have any thoughts on this.

It's not up to BHVR.

If I buy a character via Steam, Valve gets a cut. If I could buy it on Playstation, but use it on PC, Valve is bearing costs without getting the revenue.
