When Do People Actually Get Bloodlust 2/3 Often?

This eludes me because I fail to see, even with current map implementations like Badham, Garden of Joy, Borgo, Disturbed Ward, and maybe any Coldwind map, where this is applicable. I’m also generalizing every Killer, not just Trapper.

Can someone tell me when Bloodlust 2/3 is actually a healthy mechanic that promotes smart plays and mindgames, not brute forcing and refusing to kick pallets? I’m sure plenty of people who actually get to tier 2/3 are those refusing to kick a god pallet in low MMR, because that’s literally the only scenario I can see where it’ll take that long. In what map, in what scenario, and regardless of Killer is Bloodlust 2/3 a realistic tool to solve the map design that Bloodlust 1 already does?

    we might see it at the new harvester, it's common on haddonfield on houses with multiple god windows and no pallets. i'd say garden of garbage main but it's so disgustingly broken that a survivor can block line of sight and break the bloodlust. barely not an infinite. other than those it's on survivors, generally survivors can find pallets the killer has to break, getting rid of bl. if they greed and chain multiple strong window loops, bloodlust is *THE SOLUTION* to that and those survivors will taste it.

    edit: if a killer can't even find an opportunity to use their power until it's 25/35 seconds into the chase, you can safely assume they needed it since they are a weak killer or the loop is way too strong for the killer. 25 seconds is so much time for one hit assuming they get it as soon as bl 2 kicks in.

    bloodlusting a pallet loop especially a weak one is trolling.

    I think the only times I get Tier 3 Bloodlust is on Garden of Joy and Borgo; but honestly I really dont know how to play on those maps, it feels too overwhelming. At least BHVR stated that Borgo is being reworked, so Idk what it will mean going forwards.

    I imagine being forced to break more than 10 safe/god pallets a match gets quite boring so they probably want to try something out for a change, or the loop itself is just incredibly long. Granted mainly only your Legions, Ghostfaces, and Myers etc should be making use of higher bloodlust tiers otherwise it's pretty silly to not be using your ability.

    I think killers who refuse to loop optimally, refuse to break pallets, and give survivors the fast vaults every time are going to get tiers 2/3 eventually because they just aren't playing well. Basically killers who don't know how to play the game. I can't remember the last time I got tier 2/3, but it generally happens to me because I'm looping poorly and am missing something, usually something to do with how the loop is built and how to chase around it optimally.

    I tend to get bloodlust tier 2 quite a bit when playing Michael If it's not an indoor map

    When people are holding W with, like, a SB or Lithe proc around a strong main building (think Garden of Sadness, Borgo, etc) making up distance is just so difficult, particularly when you're playing a killer who can't use his power with any verticality changes so you just can't use your power to hit them at the window and are reduced to a measly 115 killer. That's the only time in recent memory that I get BL 2/3.

    And I fully support removing it and just keeping BL 1, but we need to fix those damn maps first.

    Wildly depends on a large amount of things. Personally, i nearly never get pass blood lust 1. bl2/3 is a skill compression mechanic outright and shouldn't be in the game. BL1 should be kept as a M1 killer aid.

    If you think there are that many God Pallets on each map, then you might want to look if you can play pallets a bit better. Because if so many Pallets are God Pallets for you, you are probably making some mistakes.

    @Topic:

    Bloodlust 2 and 3 is basically only reached if the Killer is really struggling to catch a Survivor and simply refuses to break a Pallet. And it is not even one of the strong ones, no Killer will try to Bloodlust a Long Wall, Jungle Gym or even Shack. If a Killer reaches Bloodlust 2 or even 3, they want to reach it.

    Which is why I dont really understand why the Devs had to buff Bloodlust that Tier 2 and Tier 3 are reached faster.
