Event Idea: The Invasion
Plot: A creature of unknown origin had begun invading the realm of the entity and had it deep blue tendrils invading and clashing against the dark orange spider legs of the entity like a disease and this was all observed by the cloaked Vigo looking up into the sky to see the silhouetted battle. the battle in the sky had effects on the ground world as hooks and generators became overflowed by each monsters power in an attempt to gain dominance in the realm. Vigo had seen the seen the infection of the other creature which he had seen consume and puppet some The Entity's objects while feeding on the spiders power this caused Vigo to name it The Parasite. Vigo took samples from what little physical substance off The Parasite and The Entity and began analyses of the substance and after he had copied the papers into multiple journals he had torn out the pages from the original copy and tossed them into the fog and let the wind carry the notes to uninformed minds.
Main even gameplay: half of all hooks and generators are divided between The Entity and the parasite with each being visual distinct. completing a generator or hooking a survivor will cause them to gain one of a type of collectible Thorns (for The Entity) or Gel (The Parasite) and after three are collected you gain a Dark Spine (An Entity leg) or a illuminated tendril (A Parasite tentacle) these are a currency and after 3 of each currency gained you gain a piece of a cosmetic set pertaining to each creature with a full set costing 9 of one of the currency. While carrying a survivor killers can tell which hooks are which because The Entity's hooks have an orange aura and The Parasites hooks have a blue aura. After a survivor is hooked the hook becomes normal and if a survivor is placed on the hook again currency will not be gained from that hook again.
Visuals: The entire event has an orange and blue color scheme this is shown with the hooks and generators. Entity generators have The Entity spider legs wrapped around it and it has a dark orange glow and The Parasites generators has it's tendrils wrapped around it with a dark orange color glow around it. The Entity's hooks have the creatures legs wrapped around it and it has an orange glow. The Parasites hooks have the creatures tendrils around it and when a survivor is sacrificed The Entity's legs will still appear but they like the hook will be surrounded by a blue glow implying The parasite has taken control of them.
The notes: For every day of the event a new page of Vigo's note book will be revealed. The note book pages have details on The Entity and physiology, The Parasite and its physiology, holes in the realms systems and some sprinkled in details about Vigo himself.
Costumes: four killers will get costumes for the event 2 for each creature along with 2 survivor costumes.
killer costumes
The Trapper: The Trapper is on The entity side of things with the hooks in his body replaced with with entity thorns, his weapon now being made of The Entity's legs and his mask now being a warped red and black version of its self.
The Doctor: The Doctor also is on The Entity's side with most of his face being warped by The Entity's dark limb's, his arm turned into a dark claw and his weapon now being made up of parts of The Entity's form.
The Wraith: The Wraith is with The Parasite and because of this there are crack like marks all over his body that emanate dark blue glow and his cloak is covered in tentacle and water designs and his weapons blade tendrils shaped with a blue glow on its edge.
The Nurse: The Nurse is also with The Parasite and has her bag showing a faint blue glow from under it and her dress has crack marks across it that have dark blue glow and it's end's a tendril shape and her weapons blade has a tentacle shape and a glowing edge.
Survivor costumes
Meg Thomas: She has a black and red hoodie to go with The Entity and with the hoodie she also has torn running jeans and long and messy hair going over shoulder.
Kate Denson: She has a dark purple crop top with her arm tattoos having tendril and water deigns, her pants are black dress pants and her hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Wow, I had almost this exact same idea (I'm not accusing you or anything, I never told anyone, just remarking at the coincidence), except slightly different appearances/names, and in my idea...
1) Out of the event you could EITHER get a Entity cosmetic or Parasite (to use your term) cosmetic set. Mutually exclusive (well, maybe you could get one choice for survivor, one choice for killer, maybe one for each character, but once you'd made a choice on a character, even from buying it in the cosmetic store if that's allowed, you could never go back and get the other side). Thus, going forward, you might be 'marked' by your choice... nothing in terms of mechanics (except maybe for future events), but, like, if you're a killer who's on the Parasite side, and you see a Parasite-tainted survivor, you might decide to give them the hatch more often, or if you're an Entity killer, you might be harder on them.
2) In my idea, the while the Entity was craving pain and the loss of hope, counter-Entity desired worship directly, obedience. Thus, instead of hooks/generators being different, there'd be "Unholy Altars" around the map. The survivors could perform a lengthy ritual to imbue it with power (functioning as one generator), or a killer could 'hook' someone on it (more like tied to altar as a sacrifice or something else), but only the death hook would count and would make the altar useless for the survivor side.
Survivors would get entity points by only working on generators, and killers get it either for sacrificing on the Entity's hooks or using the basement hooks. There'd need to be some tweaking (so that having extra 'generator alternatives' doesn't make it too easy for survivors, maybe it'd replace some generators... but then that means that killers could permanently take a generator 'out of commission' by sacrificing someone on an altar... I'm thinking maybe have some generators being 'dead' at first, sabotaged/webbed up/wrapped in tentacles/whatever by the Parasite and only coming online if a killer makes a sacrifice on an altar, or maybe successful generator completions also wither out altars at the Parasite becomes spurned)
Similarly, the Entity's cosmetic would look like corruption/body mutations, while the Parasite's would look more like a cult, robes for survivors, creepy elaborate costumes and masks for killers.
Anyway, I do love the general idea of it and wish they'd try something like this for a future event.
