In order to get him back to the viability level as other killer some of his add-ons need changing.
Specifically the De-Buffs applied to the Coil add-ons that increase the Setting time, that of which can’t even be counteracted with the Setting tools add-on.
Current best suggestions I’ve found are.
-Removing de-buffs from all add-on
-adding skillchecks to disarming traps that may result in the survivor being caught in the trap upon failing said skillchecks.
^or drastically increasing disarm time.
-increasing base number of carried traps to 2.
-Moderately increasing escape time from traps.
The Idea of an Ultra Rare add-on that can re-arm disarmed traps an even activate traps at random is pretty cool and all but even his current add-ons could really use some love.
Setting tools and Trap Setters are still some of my favourites but could still be improved.
As a trapper main the only add-one I’ve found viable are The Bags and the Dyes. Logwood isn’t peticularily game changing but can still make it a little easier to hide them in grass.
Nothing more annoying than hearing a trap disarmed seconds after placing it and walking away so having Skillchecks on disarming is by far my faveorite idea.
